

She graduated Scotia High School in 1956. Her father and mother where Charles and Anna Siple of Burnt Hills, NY. She married Henry Oltman of Scotia, New York in 1956 and remarried Irwin Walter in 1984.
She is survived by her children David Oltman, Michael Walter and Leigh Ann Oltman-Arthur and her grandchildren Scott, Kelsie and Alan Oltman and Hudson Walter.
Beth worked as a full charge bookkeeper at Trio Chemical and Spray Pack Chemical companies in Green Point Brooklyn, NY between 1968 to 1978. She also worked for JohnathonKrantz real estate in Ft Lee NJ and spent many hours crossing the George Washington Bridge. Additionally, she worked at City Hall in Yonkers for a few years and then retired.
After coming out of retirement in the early 2000’s she worked for over 10 years at The Ridge Club, a South Salem local gym while manning the front desk and also working in the nursey. Beth was an active member of The First Congregational Church of Ridgefield, she was a Stephen Minister and volunteered with their newsletter mailing. Beth enjoyed reading and she loved to fold clothes while doing an excellent job with the laundry.
Beth was also a “people person” and enjoyed watching the goings on in her neighborhood. She loved getting together with her family and friends for celebrations and meals. Those who knew her well will agree with Irwin when he said she was “unbelievable” and to quote from a Johnny Mathias song, “unforgettable “. She took pride in her appearance and was up with the latest fashions, always looking well put together. She will be missed and remembered with love.
There will be a small grave side service with immediate family members at the South Salem Cemetery in the Town of Lewisboro, NY in the coming weeks.
