Brett W. Gage, 42, of Danbury, CT passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024. Brett was born on September 29, 1981 and raised in Danbury, CT. He was the son of Ronald W. Gage and the late Nancy J. (Kreho) Gage.
Growing up in the 80s, Brett found the purest joy of being a kid with his love of playing outside, reading comics and of course video games. All of which would carry over into adulthood. A joy that no matter how old he got he would always be that same kid at heart.
During his school years, Brett would make his strongest bonds with friends that he would cherish more than anything in the world. Most importantly, he found a best friend in his older brother Mark which brought both friend groups together. There wasn’t anyone around town who didn’t know who the Gage boys were. Soon after you would see Brett’s old and new friends together this time as grown men on the softball field laughing, playing and having fun like they would as kids.
As time went on the infectiousness of Brett’s smile, hugs and personality never wore and continued to make people happy to be around him. It didn’t matter the circumstances Brett would find a way to make you smile and you would be proud to call him a friend, brother and son.
Brett leaves behind a legacy that has impacted the lives of so many for the good and some that will last for generations to come. If Brett teaches us anything, that is to love your family and friends and be of pure heart while living life to the fullest and having as much fun as possible.
Brett's smile and hugs will truly be missed by all. “BG35”
