

Brittany was born in Danbury, CT, on July 25, 1991, to Helena C. Rodrigues and Besnik Islami.
Brittany worked as a caretaker and personal assistant.
She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Fernando and Lucilia Coelho.
She is survived by her three children, Hayleigh (12), Madison (10) and Logan (7), her sister Jessica (Nicholas) Puglisi, her brothers, Besnik Islami Jr, and Zackary Islami and her parents, Besnik (Jessi) Islami and Helena Rodrigues, as well as her nephew Levi and her niece Avery.
Brittany was always the life of the party and lit up every room she walked into. She was so special, in a way that only people who truly knew her would understand.
Brittany was the epitome of living life to the fullest. She made sure her children lived that same way; going to sporting events, school and town events, and trips. Her life revolved around her children.
She had a personality that left a lasting impression on those she met. She experienced life’s ups and downs with strength and courage.
One of her greatest strengths was her determination. No matter what challenges life placed in her path, she refused to give up. She faced adversity with resilience, continuing to move forward even during difficult times and inspiring those around her with her perseverance, her strength and her determination.
She will be remembered by the legacy she leaves behind, the memories she created, the love she shared with family and friends that will never be forgotten and her strength and courage to always push forward.
She was a proud mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be missed dearly, and her memory will never be forgotten.
A visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on July 28, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
