

Born in Queens County, NY, he was a son of the late Eugene E. and Marie Pitcher Loewy. Bruce was a master of his craft, serving as a licensed master plumber and builder for over 50 years. His work was more than a career; he possessed a true passion for the plumbing industry and was deeply respected for his expertise and commitment.
Besides his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his late wife, JoAnn Loewy, and his brother, Eugene H. Loewy.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Loewy; and his children: Lauren (Wagner Mendonca), Christine (Anthony Waite), Ryan, and James (Felicia Muscatelli). He was a proud grandfather to Ethan, Nova, Connell, and Sadie.
Bruce also leaves behind his siblings, Kenneth (Ellen), Nancy (Richie), Jamie Gordon, and Craig (Caroline), along with many cherished nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
His legacy of hard work, craftsmanship, and dedication to his family will be long remembered by all who knew him.
Friends will be received from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
Entombment at the mausoleum of St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT will be at the convenience of the family.
