Bruce bought this suede shirt from a boutique I was working at called "The Whip". My boyfriend Allen's sister and brother-in-law owned it.

My heart is so happy that Bruce and I crossed paths (thanks to his daughter Christine!)  It was an automatic connection where we talked and laughed about the realm of HVAC/plumbing and family.  We shared smiles and laughs as though we knew each other a lifetime.  Our conversations just felt just right!  I visited Bruce in Hospice.  He opened his eyes wide and said, "Kat how are ya?!"  in his cheerful voice.  Bruce will always hold a special place in my heart.  Rest easy my friend.

Bruce was always nice to me and Cathy whenever we met him. He always said hello and had a kind word and showed interest in our family.

I first met Bruce and his brother Eugene at Mechanic's Institute in 1973 when we enrolled in a 3 year plumbing program.
Bruce and Eugene were very knowledgeable in the plumbing trade since they both worked for their uncle while in high school. 
I found Bruce to have a wealth of information and always on top of the latest plumbing innovations, even at this early age.
We met again while going to school for our NYC  Plumbing License, and formed a friendship during our early business years as our shops were within walking distance from each other.
Bruce was always sharing useful information with me and other business colleagues in the trade.
We vacationed together with our young families back in the '80's. We celebrated the new millennium together at my house and spent of few 4th of July's together at his home as well.
Bruce was always one to be at the top of his game and was always there to help resolve a problem we may be having on a project. As the years passed, and with my sons in the family business, Bruce developed a lasting friendship with them as well. There were years where my son Peter spoke to Bruce more than I did, discussing the latest technology with boilers and radiant heat. 
During his fight with Cancer, we would call  Bruce to say hello and see how he is feeling. He would answer the phone with a weak voice, but within just a few minutes his voice would resonate just like the Bruce we always knew; energetic and full of life.
We know he fought a good battle, determined not to give up! That was Bruce-he was not going anywhere without a fierce fight.
We, my sons, family and I will surely miss him!
