Carolyn Morgado

Carolyn was born in Danbury, on January 31, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Irene (Folls) Gilbert and John Gilbert.

She is survived by her three daughters; Pat Morgado of Fort Pierce, FL., Debbie Lockwood of Danbury, CT and Amy Peterson and husband Stewart of Chesterfield, VA., two sons; Michael Morgado and husband Robert Ward of Wingdale, NY and Paul Morgado and fiancé Lois Rynkiewicz of Orange, CT. She is also survived by her sister Doris Brought, of Danbury; and one brother, John Gilbert, and his wife Brenda of Danbury, Nine grandchildren, Judy, Danielle, Jennifer, Bill, Christopher, Mark, Zabrina, Derek, Marques, and seven great-grandchildren Nabil, Christopher, Joseph, Matthew, Michael, Halima, Aaron . She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grand nieces & grand nephews. Carolyn was predeceased by her sisters, Irene R. Gilbert, Emma R. Gilbert, Muriel J. Bradley, brother-in-law Edward Bradley, sister-in-law Marguerite Gilbert, and brother-in-law Robert Brought Sr. The family wishes to thank the staff at Saint John Paul II for all their loving care given to our dear mother.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday March 29, 2015 at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury, at 5pm Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Wooster Cemetery in Danbury at a later date. Friends will be received prior to the funeral service from 2pm-5pm
