It’s been 2 years since you’ve been gone. Your memory is alive in this house. Stories are told with laughter, and love.  You are missed, and loved. You will always be a part of my heart.  Thinking of the Jennings family, and sending love and hugs.

Dear Dian and Family,
     It was with a heavy heart that I saw the notice of Donald's passing.
I worked with him when he resided at Second Hill in New Milford.  I remember his love of music, especially Mitch Miller.  He had a beautiful voice and knew all the words.  
     Donald was a very caring friend with a great sense of humor.  I loved his laugh!! He also had a wonderful memory, and we had many visits when he brought the bread delivery to STS. He always greeted me with a smile.
     The world is slightly dimmer now that he's gone.  I'm sorry for your loss.  Thank you for sharing your brother/uncle with us.

Dear Dian, Colin, LIsa and Family,

Bill, Keith and I send our Most Sincerely Sympathy to you, in the loss of Donald.
We loved seeing Donald every time  we visited the house. 
He always had a BIG SMILE, his BEST FRIEND DONALD DUCK, and his SUN GLASSES next to him.
We also would like to  say THANK YOU  to everyone at "111" for all the loving care they gave him. They are the BEST !

I have worked with/for Donald for about 35 years. He is one of my closest friends. I do not know what it will be like without him.

I want to mention his amazing parents, Donaldson and Hilda Jennings. They spent their lives providing a happy and safe home for Donald.  And they planned well for a time when they were not going to be around. 

I think there was a big Irish Party in Heaven when he went home to his parents, numerous aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved Donald. He touched our lives, through Liz, in a special way and we will happily remember him.



Uncle Donald was such a kind and pure soul. If there is one thing that always comes to mind when I think of him and our time together, it would be his laugh. He had the most contagious laugh and I can remember crying in tears a few times. For this he will be missed. We will love and miss you always Donald. 

Uncle Don was always a bright light in our family. As a child, visiting Connecticut was a highlight every year for my sister and I. We would fly into New York City for Christmas or summer vacations and almost immediately get nauseas from the skyscrapers. Yet as soon as we got close to Redding, I started to feel at home. During these trips, we would usually get some time to check in with Uncle Don. Even though we never got to share many conversations, I always felt he knew we were connected. I loved seeing his interactions with other family members as well. My grandma and him being one of my favorites. You could tell they had a deep understanding of each other and would never leave each others side. My dad, Raymond, would always do an impression of Humphrey Bogart and elicit some giggles out of Don. My mother and Don liked to compare who had the biggest dimples, and I’m sorry to say this mom but I think Uncle Don won every time. I learned many things during my time in Connecticut with family, but the thing I keep thinking about now is how important it is to look out for the people closest to us. I feel blessed to have known Uncle Don. He will be deeply missed by our family.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Dian, Colin, Lisa, Raymond, Donaldson, and family. 
I have worked at Green Chimneys since 1989, and have helped take care of Donald. Donald was one of a kind. He was funny, smart, he loved to talk, and ask many, many, many questions. He wanted to know about my family and friends, and what I was doing when I wasn’t working.  Sometimes, he would ask the same question, in a couple of different ways, just to be sure the answer was the same.  Taking care of Donald was my job. But, after 34 years, he became my family. I loved Donald. 
I don’t know what my life is going to be like without him in it.  I’m going to miss him so much. 
I feel blessed to have been a part of his life all of these years.
