Donald was born in Danbury to Donald and Mary Ukers on April 10, 1941. He went to school in Danbury. He married his high school sweetheart Carol Ann Gaboardi in Danbury at St. Peters Church. He worked as a store manager for Layok’s Food Market for over thirty-five years.
Donald is preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Ukers, his brother George Ukers Sr. and his parents Donald Ukers Sr. and Mary Alice Layok.
Donald is survived by his son, Donald Ukers III and his grandchildren, Gavin Ukers and James Ukers.
Funeral services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, at St. Peters Cemetery in Danbury. Arrangements are by Green Funeral home.
