Edwin was my cousin.  Actually my mother and Edwin were first cousins.  He was a wonderful man and dearly loved.  I have a book I printed out full of hundreds of emails he wrote to me.  Together, they are a journal of his whole life.   Through them I was able to learn so much more about my great grandparents (his grandparents) and other family members.   Edwin was able to fill me in on so much.
A wonderful man indeed.  "Til we meet again dear Edwin.

Dr. Dawe literally saved my life.  He gave me a chance to become all that I was later able to achieve.  He is someone I will never forget.

I knew Dr. Dawe for over 20 years.  Not only was he a pleasure to work with from a client standpoint, he was a very interesting man.  He shared many interesting stories of his experiences throughout the world.  He will be missed and may he rest in peace.

We were Edwin's next door neighbor for thirty years. You couldn't ask for a better neighbor.  His unbelievable intelligence and wit were always amazing to our neighborhood.  We will surely miss him.

I am so saddened to hear of Edwin's passing. He was a good friend of my father's for over 60 years. He was a greatly admired man.  May he finally attain the peace that eluded him for all the years since  the deaths of his beloved Stella and Dorcus.

For those of you reading these tributes, please note that Dr Dawe died quite quickly and unexpectedly. While his finacial affairs are in order, he did NOT have an opportunity to tell us who should be notified of his passing. It is my understanding that he did not have any surviving relatives, but I am sure there are friends and acquaintances who should be notified. You only had to meet him once to instantly grow fond of him. I know that everyone here at the firm will miss him.
