Elaine was born in Ossining, NY to Ellen and Joseph Esposito on March 10, 1948. She attended Ossining High School and earned a full scholarship to New York University. Elaine went on to earn two Master's Degrees from NYU in Mathematics and Psychology. Elaine married Francis Cullen in December, 1972. She later married James Trezza in March, 1999.
Elaine was a dedicated Mathematics teacher in the Carmel Central School District, where she taught in both the Middle and High School. She also ran a successful private tutoring business throughout the Danbury area. As an educator, Elaine pioneered a math course focused on all female students, because she understood the importance of fostering a love of math and science in young women. Elaine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She always made time for the ones she loved. She was an excellent golfer and enjoyed spending time on the green with her friends and family.
Elaine is preceded in death by Fiore Esposito, Francis Cullen and James Trezza.
