Betty was born in Danbury April 20, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Visnovska) Lutrus. A lifelong resident, she was employed as an inspector with the Barden Corporation, retiring after many years of service. Betty was a parishioner of Saint Joseph Church, Danbury, and enjoyed reading and word puzzles in her spare time.
Betty is survived by her son, Roy A. Lynch and his wife Cheryl of Danbury, three grandchildren: Sean Lynch and his wife Jessica, Keith Lynch, and Ross Lynch and his wife Nicole, five great grandchildren: Jack, Max, Hanna, Reed, and Callen Lynch, along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Kenneth Lynch, and all of her siblings.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 13th in Saint Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
