George was born in Bronx, NY, a son of the late Emanuele Sr. and Angela (Porsia) Sabino. He attended City College of New York and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry. In 1969 George received his Masters of Business Administration from Iona College.
George served in various roles for 33 years at Union Carbide Corporation in their Park Avenue, New York City and Danbury, CT locations. His latest role being Director of Business, Marketing & Economic Research.
George participated in many industry associations including the Chemical Marketing Research Association and the National Paint & Coatings Association.
In addition to his wife of 61 years, survivors include his daughters and son-in-laws Michele Sabino, Donna Sabino and Eric Baldwin, Stefanie and Vito Corbo, Georgeann and Chris Manfredonia. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Sarah Baldwin, Michael Pilla, Alexa and CJ Manfredonia .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at St. Edward Church, New Fairfield, CT. Entombment will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale, NY.
Friends will be received from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
