Gary J. Arconti

Gary was born in Danbury on December 29, 1953, the son of Albina Morits Arconti and the late Vito Arconti. Gary grew up in Danbury and graduated from Danbury High School with the Class of 1971. In 1985, Gary began a 30-year career with the Danbury Fire Department Local 801, retiring in 2015 at the rank of Captain. Throughout his life, Gary was dedicated to his profession, serving his community and helping others.

Gary was a lover of sports (especially the Giants, Yankees and golf) and of vacationing in South Carolina; however, his greatest passion was his family. In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his wife Lori; sons Matthew Arconti (Traci) and Daniel Arconti (Jessica); daughter Jennifer A. Lapera (Michael); stepson Sean Moline; brothers Thomas Arconti and David Arconti; and sister Lisa Arconti. Gary is also survived by his grandchildren Ava, Aria, Leo, Addyson, Alexander, Jameson and Thai-ler; many cousins, nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. A Mass Of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am at Saint Joseph Church, 8 Robinson Avenue, Danbury on Friday, August 13, 2021.
