I looked forward to my regular Brookfield YMCA visits for the exercise and even more for the Health Club locker room camaraderie, which was largely due to Gerry and his daily presence. Gerry's personality was infectious and the locker room hasn't been the same in his absence for the past year. My heartfelt condolences to the family. Gerry will be dearly missed...

I had so many wonderful times with Gerry at the Brookfield Y talking about the Yankees - especially Derek Jeter. As an avid boat owner on Lake Candlewood we had many discussions on our love for the lake and all the special times spent with family on the lake. He always spoke very lovingly of his family. Jerry made my days at the Y so much fun. A truly good guy.
