Gerry a Danbury area native chose to raise her family here locally and pursued a career at Danbury Hospital for almost 20 years before retirement. Gerry's biggest passion in life came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, from playing games to watching game shows and scratching off, lottery scratch off tickets, Gerry could always be remembered for joy that her family brought her and of course her dog Snowball.
Gerry is predeceased in life by her son Brian, her brother Gerald, Joe and sister Freida. Gerry is also predeceased by her late husband Charles.
Gerry leaves behind her loving children, Jeanette Johnson (Marty), Eric Boudreau (Karen) and Audette Raymond (Robert) her sister Rose Boudreau and brother Roger LeBlanc (Anise). Gerry also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren Jeremy (Ellissa), Kyle (Amanda), Amanda (Kyle), Darryl, Eric Jr, Ashley and Corey. In addition Gerry leaves behind her great-grandchildren Ashton and Zachary Beers, Kendall and Brooke Johnson as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Gerry will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St, Danbury, Connecticut 06810, a celebration of life will be held at Green Funeral Home on January 10, 2019 at 6:00 PM officiated by Saint Joseph's Church. A burial of cremains will occur Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Saint Peter Cemetery, Lake Ave Extension, Danbury, Connecticut 06810.
