You became my friend through my mother and extended your friendship to my family and to my daughter as though she was your grandchild. You were very dear to her as she has known you more than half of her life. I hope you know how valued you were by everyone who's lives you touched. I wish we could have kept you here on Earth for our lifetime, but I'm so very happy and blessed you were a part of my life and shared your love and wisdom. My husband Claude enjoyed visiting and talking with you as well.  I loved you and will miss you very much my special friend. Rest in peace❣️

My daughter Celina enjoyed helping Gloria celebrate 🥳 her 100th!

Gloria requested pepperoni pizza, and I couldn't resist making it special for her! Daryl and Annie joined us with cake that Gloria shared with all of her friends at Bethel Healthcare! 101 never looked so good as it did for Gloria. She looked marvelous!

We weren't going to let this milestone go by without showering Gloria with cake, balloons and friendship!

Gloria was so sweet to me throughout the years. I am so happy she was able to attend my bridal shower!

Gloria enjoyed talking about Italian traditions with my husband Michael.

As you can see in this picture, Gloria brought happiness to all those around her. She would often joke with my husband Bill and never lost her smart sense of humor.

We were so lucky that Gloria was able to meet my youngest granddaughter Maggie. She was wonderful with her and proved she never lost the maternal touch!

Gloria met my children when they were just 12 and 9 years old at a game of Bingo. She watched over them during that game and continued to care for them from that point on an adopted grandmother.

Gloria was a second mother to me and a second grandmother to my children William and Christine. I always admired her optimistic outlook on life and will miss hearing her stories. She was a superb cook and made the best eggplant parmesan! She is an inspiration to us all.

I was Glorias hairdresser for many years. She was not just a client but she was my friend. We spent much time together talking,laughing, and crying at times. I will always have fond memories of her. She was one in a million. May God rest her eternal soul.

I am going to miss Gloria, she was one of my favorite patient at the facility where she passed, she was so humble, respectful,  beautiful, strong old but very independent lady for her age. One of my best memory of her was when she won the fashion show event, few months ago. Is it not common to have a resident like her.

Rest in peace Gloria! I enjoyed being your aide involved with your care. You were such a beautiful smart woman. I will never forget your warm smiles and kindness! You were always so determined to do everything on your own. Rest easy Gloria!

Gloria is survived by her loving son, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Walter Lucas (Bethel, CT), and her son Thomas Lucas (Newtown, PA).
