Glyn was born in Chapel Hill, NC, a son of John Lipham and the late Eleanor (McGurn) Lipham. He was a graduate from Danbury High School before heading to college in Florida. At Stetson University in Florida not only did Glyn receive a bachelor's degree in information technology, he was also an active brother in Phi Sigma Kappa, in the Kappa Hexton chapter.
Glyn worked for Boehringer Ingelheim in Information Technology in Ridgefield CT. Throughout his 30 year career, his manager meetings, and his golf league, Glyn amassed a plethora of friends. He was also very active at the New York Renaissance Faire and the Nyr Jorvik Viking Village historical recreationist group.
In addition to his wife of 22 years, survivors include his father, his brother, Michael Lipham; his sister, Karen (Lipham) Blake; and four nibblings.
A Celebration of Life will be held November 15, 2025, from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
