

Grant was born in Norwalk, CT, son of the late Paul Palinkas and Audrey Palinkas. He attended Danbury High School.
Grant grew up in Danbury, CT. As a teenager, he worked at Larson’s Farm and also at King Neptune with his older brother Gregory. He spent the majority of his career in construction, finishing his career at Earth Movers for over a decade prior to his retirement.
Grant was predeceased by his sister, Ave; and brothers, Gregory and Gary.
In addition to his wife of 44 years, survivors include his son, Grant Palinkas Jr. (Jessica); daughters, Andrea Hunter (Evan), and Marissa Palinkas (Matthew); his granddaughters Mariah and Lya Palinkas, Melody Velez, and Ella and Emery Hunter; his siblings: George, Alice, Lynn, Aileen, Glenn, Anita, and April and his mother in law Herminia Furtado. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends will be received from 10am-12pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury. Burial to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Danbury.
