Guy Henry Gillette

Guy was born in New Milford, son of the late Horace and Mae Gillette. He graduated from Shepaug High School and had worked throughout the state as a carpenter. He was an avid NASCAR and UCONN Huskies fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his best buddy Stretch. He was a member of St. Peter Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children John and Danielle Gillette, of Danbury, his brothers Gary Gillette and wife Helen of Enfield and Todd and wife Tracy of Roxbury, his sisters Cheryl Bennett and husband Pete of New Preston and Tracy Bertulis and husband Mark of Northfield, his mother-in-law Lorraine Zarcone and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Greg Gillette.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a service to be held the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
