Harold was born in Danbury, CT, son of the late Harold E. Sr. and Beatrice Barton. He attended Danbury schools.
Harold served 6 years in the U.S. Army, 42nd Airborne and the reserves.
Harold was the owner of Bethel Upholstery on Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Ct. until his retirement.
Harold's survivors include his daughters: Kim May (Joe), Lisa Matturro (Andy); his grandchildren: A.J. Matturro (Kelly), Douglas Matturro and Amanda DeMarco (Nick); his great grandchildren: Alex Matturro, Noah and Chloe DeMarco.
Harold was predeceased by his son, Michael Barton.
There are no calling hours. Services will be private for immediate family.
