November 2, 1921 - October 24, 2026
Hazel A. Case, passed away on October 24, 2026, almost one week before her 105th birthday. She was born on November 2, 1921, to Asa and Sarah (Orser) Palmer in Danbury, Connecticut. She graduated from Danbury School of Nursing in 1943 and the same year married Albert Singer. Hazel and Albert had three daughters: Gail Osborne, Pamela Dahncke and Deborah Hefele. She had four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Albert died in 1973 and Hazel married George Case the following year. They resided in New Milford until his death in 2005.
Hazel worked for many years as Dr. Dean Edson's nurse until her retirement in 1998.
Hazel is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved by her family and all who knew her - a life well lived.
Visitation will be held on November 2, 2026, from 10:30am to 11:30am at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, with a funeral service at the funeral home beginning at 11:30 am.
Burial will follow at Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Ave., Danbury.
