James Married Loretta Cowan in 1973 and raised his family in Danbury. James worked at Hoffman Fuel and Mitchell Oil in addition to owning his own company, Millers Burner Service in Danbury.
James is predeceased by his son Thomas Miller. In addition to his loving wife Loretta, James is survived by his children John Miller, Christopher (Kelly) Miller and Michelle (Sean) Scott; four grandchildren, one great grandson and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
James was a Mason of the Masonic Union Lodge #40 and Shriner in the Danbury area.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 9:30 AM at King Street Church, 201 South King Street, Danbury, CT 06811.
