My wife Debbie and I were serving in the Bellmore congregation when John first visited us. He wit and wisdom made are time together not only memorable but pleasurable. Later, he served us in the Massapequa congregation and we drew even closer to them. , We were there helping him to pack up when leaving the circuit...we treasure the memories we have of both of them. Looking forward to seeing his inimitable charm once more.

John was our CO when were a young couple in St Johns, MI in 1985. He welcomed us to come to his apt anytime. He and Ruth were like parents to us. We'd never had a CO before him or after him so willing to give of his time. Our son was born in 1988 and he held him while he conducted the pioneer meeting. We really loved John. It will be a happy reunion in paradise. The Tackett Family

To The Family,
He was a wonderful CO and a very loving brother along with his wife. We remember his abilities to speak many languages and using all his talents for others. He was very kind and tall in stature. Unforgettable 🌺. May the family endure the loss and keep focused on the blessings to come.

Brother Chimiklis was our Circuit Overseer in the early nineties. We were the North New Castle Congregation at that time. We, as a body enjoyed his visits. He was a kind and loving shepherd! I always looked forward to his visits. I was appointed as the presiding overseer by brother Chimiklis. I was very nervous but he assured me that I could trust in Jehovah to help me. I offer my sincere condolences to the family and all of the dear friends. Calvin Chandler

Brother Chimiklis served as our circuit overseer in NY-12 and is remembered for his zeal for the ministry and his strong stand for principle. He always had an encouraging field experience to share! He and his beloved Ruthie were quite a pair. We look forward to seeing them both again very soon!

I do not remember John and his wife Ruth well but I do remember they studied the Bible with my mother and taught us the truth. I look forward to thanking him and Ruth personally when we meet again in the resurrection John 5:28,29

My sympathies and love to the family
