He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ellen; his 6 children; 9 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Brother of Marie Colodarci; and Anne Walsh, both of Danbury. “Uncle Jackie” is further survived by many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Jack was predeceased by his grandson, Joseph.
Jack will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for the caring and helpful man that he was.
He was a proud member of the Korean War Veterans Association. As an avid fan of the Boston Red Socks, the Patriots and UCONN Women, you could always find a game on at his house.
After retiring from many years of employment at Shepherds in Bethel, Jack found passion in keeping his yard meticulously perfect by landscaping year-round. Even though he has passed, we will still hear him saying, “Stay off my lawn!”
He will truly be missed.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:30am on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at St. Peter Cemetery (Sec. #18), Danbury, CT.
Contributions in Jack's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CT, 200 Executive Blvd. S., Suite #4B, Southington, CT 06489
