Mr. Kreusser was born in Dayton, Ohio on February 4, 1955, a son of the late Jay and Barbara (Sonand) Kreusser. He attended Weston High School and graduated from University of Connecticut, and later Purdue University. Mr. Kreusser was a lifetime employee of IBM, having worked there for 30 years. Mr. Kreusser was an avid sports fan who loved traveling, politics, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife of 29 years, he is survived by a daughter, Stephanie Kreusser of Washington D.C., a son, Gregory Kreusser of New Fairfield and Cisco, the family Corgi. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a sister, Marilyn Matschke, of Newtown, CT. He is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Witherbee and Sue Mesmer, and their husbands, Andrew Witherbee and Greg Mesmer. His in-laws: Lillian and William Kanehl. He was the brother-in-law Rick Matschke of Newtown, CT, and Tammy and Stephen Moore of Brewster, NY. His nieces and nephews: Eliza and Peter Witherbee, Oliver and Justin Mesmer, Michelle and Sean Matschke also survive. His greatest achievement was his incredible family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Edward Church, New Fairfield, CT. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday from 5-8pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
