John J. White Jr.

John was born in Danbury, son of the late John J. and Phebe (Signor) White, Sr. he graduated from Bethel High School and had worked as a chemist for Chemical Marketing Concept Company. He was very active in the community as a Bingo Caller. He had been the caller for Bingo at Danbury VFW Post, Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge, St. Joseph Church, St. Peter Church, American Legion and DAYO.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Kelly Sue of Danbury and Crystal White, of NY, three sisters, Joan Schlitter and husband Royal, of Wilmington, NC, Linda Matthews and husband Jon Matthews, Sr., of New Fairfield and Rita White, of Ocala, FL, a brother Gordon Price, of Ocala, FL, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Wooster Cemetery, on Friday at 12 noon.
