Jose Miguel Molano

Jose was born in Paipa, Colombia, son of the late Ana Tulia Molano. He attended school in Colombia and immigrated to the United States, where he lived in Stamford for many years, prior to moving to New Fairfield six years ago, to be close to his daughter and grandchildren. He had worked for many years as a custodian for the Scared Heart Academy in Stamford.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Consuelo “Connie” Mahoney and husband, Adam, of New Fairfield, his grandchildren, Sofia and Joseph Mahoney and his brother, Aristelio Molano, of Colombia, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Rafael and Carlos and his sister Mercedes.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Sherman, on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
