Jose was born in Dominican Republic, a son of the late Angel Miguel Tineo and Aurelia Rodriguez.
Jose was well known throughout Danbury by so many and was loved by them all. Jose had a way of winning the hearts of all he met. There wasn’t a soul in Danbury who did not know who Jose “papa” “pop” was. Jose, a noted Danbury legend, could often be found walking on Main Street and around other Danbury areas chatting with friends or just simply enjoying the fresh air and nature.
He also enjoyed having family around him, as this made him feel so loved. Jose took on the role with no restraint in being “papa” to all the children in the family and the children of friends. He loved with no limits and showed everyone how warm his heart truly was. He was grateful to all who loved him.
