Born on February 21, 1925, to Italian immigrants Assunta and Benedetto Letizia, Joseph was the youngest of nine siblings. His life was a testament to resilience, courage, and unwavering love.

In 1973, guided by a desire for a better life and a peaceful sanctuary to raise his family, Joseph made the courageous decision to move his loved ones to New Fairfield, CT. Joseph was a dedicated family man. His move to New Fairfield was a testament to his unwavering commitment to the well-being and happiness of his loved ones.

His passing follows that of his beloved wife Antoinette Letizia and son-in-law Gregory Naumann. Joseph is survived by his two loving daughters, Judith Collentine and JoAnn Naumann, son-in-law George Collentine and his six adoring grandchildren, Sydney, Kassidy, and Kegan Collentine, and Gavin, Emmett, and Abel Naumann. His legacy lives on in the hearts of these family members, a testament to the love he gave and the values he instilled.

Joseph was a member of St. Edwards the Confessor Roman Catholic Church where he participated in the choir and Knights of Columbus.
