Joyce A. (Wilmot) Carvalho passed away on October 7, 2026. She was born on June 15, 1945, in Danbury, where she lived throughout her life. Joyce worked in the Danbury Public Schools for many years and was very involved in parish life at Sacred Heart Church.
Her immediate family members are sons Michael and Fred Carboni, daughter Christine (Carboni) Hanson and husband Edward Carvalho.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 12 Cottage St, Danbury, on October 22, 2026, at 12:00 pm followed by burial of her ashes at St. Peter Cemetery, Lake Avenue Extension, also in Danbury.
