Karen A. Fortier

Karen was born in Danbury, a daughter of the late Edwin X. and Gloria Wixon Mannion. She was a 1970 graduate of Bethel High School. Karen received her BA from Western Connecticut State University as well as her MA in Accounting. A long time employee with Anheuser-Busch in Newburgh, NY, she retired after over 20 years there. She was previously with National Can in Bethel.

Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by her daughter, Katie Taylor Mannion.

Besides her partner, she is survived by many cousins, as well as her dear friend, Kate Trinkline of Bethel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014 at 9:30am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury with the Rev. Samuel V. Scott, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
