Kathy was a blessing to many and will be fondly remembered for her favorite saying, “I’m too blessed to be stressed” which she faithfully proclaimed when anyone asked how she was doing.
As an amazing cook and baker, Kathleen’s joy came from feeding others with love, kindness, prayers, and delicious food. She enjoyed preparing meals, baked goods and casseroles for church potlucks, friends, family and neighbors. Having grown up on the apple orchard, apple pies were her specialty.
Kathleen was a devoted and faithful servant of the Lord and led a long spiritual life. She was an active prayer warrior involved with several prayer ministries including Eagle Wings and Operation Exodus and attended services at First Assembly of God and the House of Prayers and Miracles. She was certified as an Associate Chaplain in 2011 and ministered prayer services to her fellow residents during her brief stay at Bethel Healthcare.
In addition to finding her strength and joy from The Lord, she also enjoyed traveling abroad to destinations including India, Italy, Hawaii, Alaska, and England. One of the highlights of her travels abroad was to the Holy Land and being baptized in the Jordan River.
She will be sadly missed by all those who lives she touched by her beautiful spirit.
A visitation for Kathleen will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT from 4pm - 6pm. A prayer service will follow at the funeral home at 6pm.
