Lillian L. Esposito

January 23, 1952March 4, 2014

Lillian L. Esposito, 62, of Danbury, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Tuesday March 4, 2014 with her beloved husband, Daniel J. Esposito, by her side and surrounded by the love of family and friends.

Lillian was born in Mahopac, NY to the late Irene Yaple. She attended Danbury Schools growing up and graduated from St. Petersburg High school in 1970. She was a long time resident of Danbury and married her high school sweetheart Daniel, in 1973 at St. Peter Church. Although recently retired, she worked as a medical receptionist in Danbury for numerous years with Danbury Orthopedics and also at Connecticut Pain Care. In addition to her husband of 41 years, Lillian is survived by her father William Mooso of Danbury, as well as her two children: Jeffrey Esposito of Danbury and Laura Bumbala and her husband, Steve Bumbala, of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by her father-in-law John J. Esposito of Danbury and many brother and sister-in-laws from the Esposito family including countless beloved nieces and nephews.

Lillian will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted wife, mother, and expectant grandmother. Her generosity, compassion, and bright spirit inspired those around her and made the world better for having her in it.

Dear Dan, Jeff and Laura, We can't believe it. Just found out. Lillian was such a fantastic person. Loving and Giving of all that she had. Once a friend always a friend. She would give you the shirt off her back. Truly wish we had kept in better touch. If we can be of any help please call. She was a perfect Rose. We will always remember St. Peter school and the good times. Love to all of you.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
