Linda was born October 1, 1956 to Bernard and Louise DiSarro in Staten Island, NY. After relocating to New Fairfield at the age of 10, Linda went on to graduate from Danbury High School and attend Texas Women’s University, earning a B.S. in Physical Therapy. It was on the drives back and forth to Texas where she met her husband of 39 years, Bob.
Linda genuinely enjoyed life, bringing light and love to those around her. She was a devoted wife, daughter, mother and Nono, and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family and loved ones. She was a dedicated physical therapist, making lifelong friends with her coworkers and patients. She was always the first to help, putting others before herself and making everyone feel special. Linda was a true caregiver, for her family, friends and patients, and that care extended through to all the neighborhood cats, racoons, possums, skunks, and other creatures that ended up on her deck for a meal. She enjoyed travel, especially spending time at her family home in Long Beach Island, NJ or attending a Penn State Football game.
Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bob; children Melissa (Jordan) Acri and Steven (Samantha) Campanelli; step-daughter Cindy Priest; grandchildren Brandon (Madison), Arthur and Ashley Priest, Connor and Parker Acri; mother Louise DiSarro; brother Dean (Debbie) DiSarro and numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Bernard DiSarro and in-laws Alfonso and Rose Campanelli.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 5 – 8pm at Green Funeral Home in Danbury.
