Louis P. Gervasoni, age 97, passed away on October 26, 2018, at his Danbury home. He was born on April 20, 1921 in Redding, CT, the son of John and Mary Gervasoni. Louis was predeceased by his wife Esther, and son Louis. He was also predeceased by his sister Jennie McNamara and his brothers Armino, John and James Gervasoni. He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lou worked at Danbury Airport for more than 26 years, from 1965 to 1992. He was promoted to foreman in 1967, and again promoted to Airport Operations Supervisor in 1988.
He was a decorated veteran of World War II, serving in the Signal Corps. He served his career in France, Italy and Germany. Special thanks to his caregivers. His partner in crime Marie, Joan, Leslie, Allison, Felicia, Carolyn, Lissette and many others.
Friends and family are invited for visitation on Tuesday, October 30, 9 a.m.-11 a.m. with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury. Burial to immediately follow at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Avenue Ext, Danbury.
