

Lucille was born in Danbury, CT, January 11, 1926 daughter to the late James H. and Ethel Raymond Bailey. She grew up in Danbury with her sister Myrtle Bailey Brosz and four brothers, Carl, Donald, Gene, and James Bailey, all who predeceased her.
Lucille is survived by her sons: Daryl and his wife Melissa, of Bethel; Mark and his wife Lisa, of Watertown. Daughter: Dawn and her husband Clay. Daughter-in-law Lori. Her beloved grandchildren: Roxann, Holly, Rebeccah, Briana, Shawna, and Derek, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille’s greatest enjoyment was her family. Her trips to Lancaster, PA were always a highlight. Sunday evening dinners with the family always ended with a fun family game that we all enjoyed playing. Lucille enjoyed arts, crafts, and puzzles. Lucille also enjoyed volunteering at the Danbury Senior Center for the ceramic classes. Lucille’s favorite pastime was sitting in her row boat fishing.
Lucille was employed at Barden Corporation for approximately 18 years. She also delivered newspapers for the Danbury News Times and was honored as one of their top delivery employees.
There will be no calling hours.
As to Lucille’s wishes, her ashes will be taken to Wooster Cemetery for a private graveside ceremony, date to be determined.
