Lucille Ann Mullin Wilk, 89, of Danbury, CT. passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at her home in Danbury. She was the wife of John S. Wilk from West Rutland, Vermont. Together they have lived in Danbury for 65 years.
Lucille was born in Rutland, VT, daughter of the late Marjorie and James Mullin. In addition, she had two brothers, Robert and James and a sister Patricia all of Rutland VT.
In addition to her husband of 68 years, survivors include her two sons: Ronald Wilk and his wife, Wendy Wilk; Alan Wilk and his wife, Joanne Wilk; her two daughters: Marjorie Sinclair and her husband, Michael Sinclair; and Deborah Ireland and her husband, Gregory Ireland; her grandchildren: Heather, Stephanie, Lucas, Lucia, Lia, Justin and Scott. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her grandchildren: William, Henry, Zachory, Ashley and Jessica.
Lucille worked for 50 years as an administrator assistant at various corporations. Her final employer was Rizzo Electric in Danbury where she happily worked for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time traveling with family and friends, camping, bowling, listening to oldies music, and volunteering. Hobbies included sewing and pottery.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Joseph Church in Danbury, where she was a faithful member for 65 years, with the Rev. Samuel V. Scott, Pastor, officiating.
