Margaret A. Lutz

Born in the Bronx, NY to the late Eugene and Margaret Miller Flynn, Peggy was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy in the Bronx. She married her husband in 1950 and resided in City Island before moving to Florida then to Connecticut.

Peggy loved nothing more than to be around her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. She loved to entertain and to be surrounded by those she cherished so dearly.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church in New Milford, CT.

Besides her husband of 67 years, Peggy is survived by her children: Robert C. Lutz of Beverly Beach, FL; Jeannie Hickey and her husband, John, of New Milford, CT; Susan Seiter and her husband, Lenny, of Brookfield, CT; and Michael C. Lutz and his wife, Caryn, of Palm Coast, FL. Her brother: Eugene Flynn and his wife, Mildred, of Yorktown Heights, NY. 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her brother, John Flynn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, City Island Ave., City Island, NY with the Rec. George O’Neill officiating. Burial will follow in Pelham Cemetery, City Island, NY.

Friends will be received from 5pm-9pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
