Marguerite J. Skelly

Marge was born in Danbury, April 7th, 1918, daughter of the late William J. and Grace (Costello) Henry. Her father was a former police chief for the City of Danbury. She grew up in Danbury and graduated from local schools. Marge had been a lifetime area resident and was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield.

She is survived by two sons; Thomas F. Skelly, III and his wife, Linda and Wayne A. Skelly: two daughters; Janice G. Williams and her husband, Charles and Marlene Skelly, all of Danbury: six grand children: Bonnie Thompson, Shamus Skelly, Brendan Skelly, Erin Karloutsos, Meghan Karloutsos, Joshua Febres; her daughter in law; Rita Skelly: 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Marge was predeceased by two granddaughters, Jamie Jackson and Sherri Williams; a great granddaughter, Candice Lee Williams, 3 sisters and a brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield on Saturday morning at 10:00 am. Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury on Friday from 4pm to6 pm.
