Maria was born in Matados, Portugal. She migrated to the United States of America in 1967. Prior to her retirement, Maria worked at Castro Convertibles and Davis & Geck.
Maria was predeceased by her husband, Armenio F. DaCunha her brother, Jose Pais, and sister, Maria Rebelo.
Survivors include her son, Angelo F. DaCunha and his wife, Fatima; her grandchildren: Amanda DaCunha and Austin DaCunha. She is also survived by brothers and sisters: Antonio Pais, Alvaro Pais, Joaquim Pais and Joaquina Dos Santos.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Monday, January 27, 2025 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury, CT. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
Friends will be received from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
