Maria Taveras passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 96. She was a resident of Danbury, CT. Maria was the loving wife of the late Jose Taveras and was also a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
Visitation will be held at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT on June 10, 2026, from 10am to 1pm with a funeral service held on June 10, 2026, at 1pm, also at the funeral home.
Burial will immediately follow at Wooster Cemetery, 20 Ellsworth Ave., Danbury, CT.
