Marie R. Frattalone

Marie (Romanello) Frattalone, 88, formally of Greenwich, passed away peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014.

Marie was born in Port Chester, NY daughter of the late Anthony and Gertrude (D’Andrea) Romanello. She graduated from Port Chester HS and later married her late husband Lawrence Frattalone, in 1947. She was a legal secretary for many years. Marie was a dedicated member of St. Roch’s for the past sixty years, either at fried dough at the feast, opening the church basement for activities or working on church finances, she was also an active member of the Greenwich AARP until her recent move to an assisted living facility. She was an avid bowler and bocce player, loved going to the casino and playing poker or dominos, but she especially loved spending time with her nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.

Marie is survived by her five children: Ann Frattalone and husband Donald Giarratano of Bridgewater, Marie G. Frattalone of Old Greenwich, Lorraine and Mario Lodato of Riverside, Theresa Frattalone of Putnam and Larry and Terri Frattalone of Waller, TX. In addition to her children she is survived by her brother Domenic Romanello of Virginia. She was predeceased by two of her brothers Joseph and Anthony Romanello.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take at St. Roch’s Church, Greenwich, on Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m.

Larry and the entire Frattalone Family,
My sincere sympathy to all during this difficult time. I saw your mom a few yrs with my dad at the doctors office, we chatted a while, it was nice to see her again. Harold Ave is not the same anymore, but our memories of our parents stay in our hearts, God Bless you mom.
