Marion grew up in New Milford and Danbury, living in Newtown prior to her death. She worked at National Semiconductor for over 30 years.
Marion was a member of Central Christian Church in Danbury, where she sang in the church choir when she was a young lady. She was an avid gardener and puzzle person.
Survivors include her five children: Cecil (Chip) Shook and his wife, Linda; Leroy (Boe) Millard and his wife, Carrie; Roxanne Rorick and Ellen; Marion Traverse and her husband, Ronald; and Brian Millard and his wife, Anna; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends will be received from 11:00am -12:00pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury CT.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00pm on Tuesday, August 25, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
