It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother, who left us at the age of 71. She was a kind and thoughtful woman with a truly generous spirit, always putting others before herself and offering warmth, compassion, and love to everyone she met.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Lloyd J. Travis; her loving son, Aron Travis; and daughter-in-law, Jennifer Travis (Jonathan Pizzuto). Also surviving is her brother, Billie L. Karr, Jr.
She was predeceased by her son, Trevor Travis, whom she held close in her heart always.
Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness: Ashlynn Roberts (Dom Roberts), Autumn Travis (Tommy Martins), Jayden Hansen, Camden Travis, Mackenzie Travis, and Quentin Pizzuto. She also had her grand pup Astro, who loved her more than anything in this world. She cherished every moment spent with them and created memories that will be treasured forever.
France held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in beauty, elegance, and anything that sparkled. Her memory will continue to shine brightly—like the lights of the Eiffel Tower—illuminating the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her legacy of kindness and love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm - 3:00pm on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT.
A Prayer Service will be conducted at 3:00pm at the funeral home.
