Martin was born in Danbury on January 8, 1972, and had been a life long resident. He graduated from Danbury High School Class of 1990. As a youth he played soccer for several years for PAL.
Martin was a machinist by trade for various neighboring shops.
When asked, how are you today ,his answer would always be I'm ok "I'm a proud American" which he was.
Besides his parents, Martin will be sorely missed by sisters: Monica Barrett (Raymond), nieces Alyssa and Olivia Barrett; Holly Broadhurst (William), niece Natalie, and nephews, Benjamin and Matthew Broadhurst. Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive.
Funeral Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
