Mary M. Egan

Mary M. Egan, age 81 passed away, surrounded by family, on January 7, 2016. Born on December 25, 1934, to the late Sarah Melon and Daniel Brady. Mary was born in the Bronx, NY, and was a long time resident of New Fairfield and Danbury, CT.

Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was the life of the party, and loved her grandchildren dearly. Mary would break into song to entertain her loved ones, and always had a smile and a story for all.

She is survived by her children who she adored: her son Jack Egan and his spouse Suzy, her daughter Anne Kirsch and her spouse Kevin, her son Larry and his spouse Martine, and her son Bill and his spouse Danelle and her seven loving grandchildren: Kristopher, Christopher, Mark, Jack, Sarah, Cammy, and Ella.

Mary is also survived by her sister Alice Henry, and her brother Danny Brady, and pre-deceased by her brothers Charlie Brady and John Brady.

Mary loved her friends at Bethel Health Care, who were like her second family in her later years. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Bethel Health Care who took care of her with love and respect.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan 12, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church in Bethel. Interment will follow at St Mary Cemetery, Bethel.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St. Danbury on Monday, Jan 11, 2016, from 5 – 8 pm.
