Mary Jane Prescott

Born in Troy, New York on September 4, 1940, Mary Jane (MJ) was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Rozum) O’Donnell. She graduated from Catholic Central High School, Troy, and attended St. Peter’s Nursing Hospital, Albany. Later in life, after raising her family, she obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Mattatuck Community College, CT, and then her RN. In her 60s, she certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant and Paralegal from Mercy College, NY.

MJ is survived by her children Ralph M. Prescott and wife Jan (Dukelow) Prescott, Cindy A. Leary, Jo Ann (Prescott) Malvone and husband Vincent, Randy J. Prescott; granddaughters Shannon Leary, Leah

Prescott) Lenzo; and sister Helen-Marie (O’Donnell) McQuaid.

Viewing 9:30 AM, Mass 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 15, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Church, Troy, NY followed by a Christian burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
