Mildred A. Vitallo Desrosiers

Mildred A. (Vitallo) Desrosiers a long time resident of Schenectady, died January 22, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family after a short Illness. She was 93. Mildred was born August 23, 1918 in Norwich, NY, the daughter of the late Chauncey and Gertrude (Murtagh) Cole. She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother- in-law, aunt and sister. She was a kind and caring woman who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret Falkowski and her fiancée John Blanar of Mahopac, NY, one son Michael Vitallo and his wife Anita of Schenectady, NY, one daughter in law Joanne Fuda of Schenectady NY, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband Ralph Vitallo and her former husband Roland Desrosiers, one son Russell Vitallo, two grandchildren Dana Falkowski and Paul Vitallo and several brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at the McLoughlin & Mason Funeral Home 8109th Street, Troy, NY on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00 am at St. Madeline Sophie Church. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Schenectady, NY
