family at her bedside. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, William P.
Wicks, Jr.
Born and raised in New York City, she and her extended family moved to Danbury in the
early 1950s. She was a long-time employee of Davis and Geck, where she worked as a
secretary in the engineering department. She and her husband, Bill, were avid ballroom
dancers and entertained family and friends alike with their fancy steps.
Mrs. Wicks is survived by her daughter Linda, son and daughter-in-law William and
Barbara, daughter Adair, grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Daniel, Robyn and her
husband Roberto, Aimee and her husband Adam, and great-grandchildren Julius,
Catalina, Ethan, and Nicholas. Her surviving extended family including sisters-in-law, a
brother-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews were all dear to her.
A private ceremony will be held at Arlington National Cemetery where she will be
interred bedside her beloved husband.
