Modesto M. Carneiro, age 79, passed away on September 16, 2025. Modesto was born March 3, 1946, in Sao Juliao, Portugal. He was the son of Abilio and Anna (Macanjo) Carneiro. Modesto served as a soldier in the Portuguese military.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Maria (Barrigas) Carneiro is his daughter, Lucia Carneiro.
A Funeral Mass for Modesto will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 149 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury, CT. Interment will be at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury, CT.
