Nancy was born in Danbury, CT to George and Edna Jennings on September 11, 1934. She went to school in Bethel where she graduated. She was married to Terrence Peterson for over 50 wonderful years. Over the years she worked at several places including Bardens, Audio Dynamics and Kmart, but her greatest job was taking care of her family.
Nancy enjoyed Sunday rides with her family, going to the bakery to get Neapolitans and hard rolls,
and boating on Candlewood Lake. She also loved spoiling all her dogs. She loved spending time with her daughters, grandkids and great grandkids and sitting on the porch in the sun with her feet up on the planter box. Nancy was always baking, doing puzzles and word searches, knitting and gardening. In her later years she discovered Alexa and would say "Alexa, play Johnny Cash".
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Terrence Peterson, and parents, George and Edna Jennings.
Nancy is survived by her daughters: Rosanne Peterson and her partner, Joe, Donna Reiske, and Patty Eaton and husband, Wayne; her grandchildren: Heidi Eaton and partner, Kevin, David Reiske, Carolyn Bachelder and husband, Chris, and Greg Reiske; her great grandchildren: Eric, Zack, Marya, Trinity, Phoenix, Maverick, Willow, Victoria, Karissa, and great-great granddaughter Stella, along with nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will conducted at 12:00pm on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT.
Friends will be received from 10:00am – 12:00pm on Friday, February 14, 2025 at the Green Funeral Home, Danbury, CT.
